The Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation (MEYR), in collaboration with the Malta College of Arts, Science & Technology (MCAST) and the Malta Chamber of SMEs, is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the MCAST Part-time Research Fellowship Scheme 2025.

This initiative provides financial support of up to €30,000 for part-time research fellowships, encouraging joint Research and Innovation projects between economic stakeholders and MCAST. The scheme focuses on four key thematic areas:

• Smart Manufacturing
• Sustainable Use of Resources for Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation
• Future Digital Technologies
• Health and Well-being
