For International applicants (FT Prospectus courses 2024/25) – Third Country (non-EU) Nationals not yet residing in Malta (hence without an active and valid Maltese EID)
  • International applications for Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nursing will be received until Tuesday 30th April 2024.

MCAST Admissions FT Prospectus Courses 24/25 – following the publication of MATSEC July results.
  • This time window is the opportunity for EU Nationals and Third Country Nationals already residing in Malta as well as EU nationals not yet residing in Malta, wishing to submit an application but who do not have an active and valid Maltese eID.
  • Applications submitted under the Maturity Clause will only be considered up to 14th August 2024.
  • Applicants wishing to apply for Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nursing who do not possess all entry requirements by 14th August 2024 should apply for the ‘Advanced Diploma in Health Sciences’. Once such an application is submitted, applicants must inform the Admissions and Records Department (mcast7888@mcast.edu.mt) of their interest in the B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing degree.

Post MATSEC September results call – following the publication of MATSEC September/resit results – this call is ONLY available for those residing in Malta and have an active and valid EID.
  • Some courses may not be available during this call due to over-subscription following the main July/August call.
  • Applicants who had previously applied for a course and now wish to transfer to another course (given that they have attained the full entry requirements) are to request such a transfer during this week.
  • This time window will not consider applications requiring the Maturity Clause.
Students who have already been Registered at MCAST following applications submitted during First Call, and who have now achieved more results which make them eligible for another course, are to send an email to mcast7888@mcast.edu.mt (clearly identifying themselves in full including ID Number and explaining why they are sending their email).
The following courses are not available during this call due to over-subscription following the main July/August call.

Monday 7th to Friday 11th October 2024 Late Call – A Late Application Fee of Euro 50 including VAT (non-refundable) is applicable – this call is ONLY available for those residing in Malta, with an active and valid EID, and the necessary entry requirements. (applications under Maturity Clause cannot be considered as is the case in previous call – only considered for applications submitted till 14th August 2024).

Until Friday 18th October 2024 MQF Levels 3, 4, 5, and 6 – Transfer of course, only from Registered year 1 MCAST students. Some courses may not be available in this period due to over-subscription from the main Admissions Time Window.
Until Thursday 31st October 2024 MQF Levels 1 and 2 – Transfer of course, only from Registered year 1 MCAST students. Some courses may not be available in this period due to over-subscription from the main Admissions Time Window.

MQF Level 1 and Level 2 course applicants, who will be required to sit for an Initial Assessment Test (IAT), must ensure that they attend the scheduled IAT, as otherwise, they may not be considered for late call application submission, or any further application processing.

Transfer Window of Courses – only applicable to those who would have been successfully registered as MCAST students in the set calls/application time windows.
