Suggest the purchase of new resources

Is there a particular book, journal, database, etc. we don’t have that would make a useful addition to the library? Do you think we need more copies of an important textbook?

The MCAST library aims to make books and other resources available to support your learning and research. If the library does not have the material you require, you can suggest that we purchase it.

We will consider all suggestions, bearing in mind their suitability as well as any budget constraints that may be in place. You can follow the status of your request by logging in into your online My Library Account and clicking on the Purchase requests button.

Making a suggestion

Suggestions can be made by both MCAST staff and students.

Before submitting a suggestion, please use the online library catalogue to make sure that the library does not already have the item. For guidelines on how to do the search, please see Search Tips.

For a suggestion for the purchase of:

• A book, you can either use our online form  or download the form from here.  In the case of the online form, use a separate form for each item suggested.
• Any other material, you can send an email at llrc@mcast.edu.mt
