Borrowing Made Easy
Our circulation services handle user registration, borrowing, returns, renewals, and queries.

Card System
Photocopying uses a card-operated system:
- New Card: €3.00 (€2.50 deposit + €0.50 credit)
- Recharge: €2.50 minimum
- Deposit Refund: Available when card is returned
Scanning & Binding
Scanning: Free of charge
Binding: Plastic spiral binding at Mosta campus (€1.00 up to 50 pages, €1.50 for more)

All libraries provide computer access with internet connectivity for research, assignments, and email.

Library Opening Hours
Find opening times and contact information for all MCAST library locations.
Important Notice
- Main Library (Paola): Mon–Fri, 7:15 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Extended hours (until 7:30 p.m.) Oct–May.
- Summer break (Jul–mid Sep): hours may close at 1:30 p.m.
- All libraries closed weekends, public holidays, Christmas shutdown.
- Offsite libraries closed during summer recesses and when staff on leave.

Library Registration
Membership is free — register today to access all library facilities and services.
Registration is Important
To use the library facilities and services, it is IMPORTANT that you register with the library. Membership is FREE. The registration form is available through the options below.
MCAST Staff and Students
You can register in any of the following ways:
- At the library circulation/help desk — ask for a form and fill it in.
- In Word format — downloadable from here. Fill it in, and either hand it in at the circulation/help desk or send it by email to llrc@mcast.edu.mt.
- Online.
Accessing the Library
To use the library facilities and services, students are to present their student card, and staff, their ID card/Passport. Membership will entitle you to:
- Borrow library items (such as books, DVDs, games & toys, etc.)
- Access online e-journals and e-books
- Make use of other services, such as computers, printing and scanning
Friends of MCAST Library
(Non-MCAST staff and students)
You can register in any of the following ways:
- At the library circulation/help desk — ask for a form and fill it in.
