This Bachelor’s programme aims to provide learners to become Vocational Education and Training practitioners. Learners are provided with the knowledge, skills and competences to work effectively, efficiently and confidently as professional teachers, supervisors, mentors, educational designers and agents of change in the fast changing reality of industry 4.0. This can take place in both Vocational Education Institutions as well as leading learning at the workplace. Participants on the programme will have the opportunity to build upon their existing disciplinary knowledge, while integrating it with the educational learning that is the core of the programme.
Dan il-programm ta’ Baċellerat għandu l-għan li jipprovdi lill-istudenti biex isiru prattikanti tal-Edukazzjoni u t-Taħriġ Vokazzjonali. L-istudenti jingħataw l-għarfien, ilħiliet u l-kompetenzi biex jaħdmu b’mod effettiv, effiċjenti u kunfidenti bħala għalliema professjonali, mentors, disinjaturi edukattivi u aġenti tal-bidla fir-realtà tal-industrija 4.0 li qed tinbidel malajr. Dan jista’ jseħħ kemm fl-Istituzzjonijiet tal-Edukazzjoni Vokazzjonali kif ukoll fit-tagħlim ewlieni fuq il-post tax-xogħol. Il-parteċipanti fil-programm se jkollhom l-opportunità li jibnu fuq l-għarfien dixxiplinarju eżistenti tagħhom, filwaqt li jintegrawh mat-tagħlim edukattiv li huwa l-qalba tal-programm

Duration: 3 Years Full-time
Entry requirements: A full MCAST Level 4 qualification (120 Credits) related to the area of specialisation with an overall average Grade of C or better
or
2 A-Level subjects (with a Grade C or better) and 2 I-Level subjects — related to the area of specialisation as indicated in the regulations
Other entry requirements: SEC/O-Level/SSC&P (Level 3) passes in Maltese, English and Mathematics
Vaccination card with complete vaccination programme
Career opportunities: Teacher in vocational education and training, Teacher of vocational and applied subjects in secondary education, Lead learning at the workplace
