Work Placement
This course of study provides learners with a broad knowledge of the animal management and animal care industry, including veterinary nursing and assistance as well as studies in veterinary diagnostic techniques and livestock management. The programme of study offers a wide perspective on the latest practices in the animal management/animal care sector as well as its interconnectivity with entrepreneurship and the related business sector. Learners will be encouraged to relate theory to practice at all stages through assignments, projects, practical work and work placements. Scheduled practical livestock husbandry duties form an integral part of the curriculum.
Dan il-kors ta’ studju jipprovdi lill-istudenti għarfien wiesa’ fir-rigward tal-industrija tal-ġestjoni u l-kura tal-annimali, inklużi l-infermerija u l-assistenza veterinarja, kif ukoll studji dwar it-teknika dijanjostika veterinarja u l-ġestjoni tal-bhejjem. Il-programm ta’ studju joffri perspettiva wiesgħa dwar il-prattiċi l-aktar riċenti fis-settur tal-ġestjoni u l-kura tal-annimali, kif ukoll ir-rabta tiegħu mal-intraprenditorija u s-settur kummerċjali relatat. L-istudenti jiġu mħeġġa jorbtu t-teorija mal-prattika fl-istadji kollha tal-kors permezz ta’ assignments, proġetti, ħidma prattika u esperjenzi ta’ xogħol. Id-dmirijiet skedati tat-trobbija prattika tal-bhejjem jiffurmaw parti integrali mill-kurrikulu.
