Inauguration of the new simulator at the Centre for Maritime Studies, Institute of Engineering and Transport
KIA Motor Malta donated a KIA Optima to MCAST which will be used for the training of MCAST students in mechanics and operations participating in courses at the Institute of Engineering and Transport.

The Ambassador of Mozambique, César Francisco de Gouveia Junior visited MCAST to discuss collaboration in the field of vocational education and training. He was accompanied by the Honorary Consul for Mozambique, Mr Karl Farrugia Wismayer and the first secretary, Inacio Muzime.
Visit by Hon.Owen Bonnici at the MCAST Resource Centre (MRC). The new Resource Centre (currently in its final phase of construction) will include a Centre for Research and Innovation, the Learning Resource Centre and the new library.
MCAST organised a Ftira Day for all Administrative Staff
MCAST signed a 3 year agreement with the Air Conditioning Importers Association (ACIA). Students enrolled in the Diploma in Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning will benefit from a sponsorship and will train in the newly equipped workshop.
