The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) has opened a call for artistic content proposals for the fourth edition of KampuSajf, its summer arts festival at the Mosta campus.

Produced by MCAST and supported by APS Bank, KampuSajf will be held from 6 to 8 August 2026.

KampuSajf transforms the campus into a space for artistic experimentation and cultural exchange during the summer months, bringing together students, staff and the wider public.

This year’s edition, titled Playgrounds for Emergence, focuses on the early stages of artistic practice and explores how ideas develop through experimentation, collaboration and testing.

The campus will serve as a flexible setting for performances, installations, workshops and interdisciplinary projects. It will activate classrooms, studios and outdoor spaces.

The festival coincides with MCAST’s 25th anniversary and reflects its role in supporting creative development across generations.

Curated by artistic directors Elyse Tonna and Justin Galea, the programme is open to artists, collectives and organisations working across disciplines, including visual arts, music, theatre, literature and film.

 

Proposals that encourage collaboration, public engagement, inclusivity and connections to Maltese culture and language are invited.

Selected participants will receive funding, alongside production support, rehearsal space and access to MCAST facilities.

Applications open on 2 April and close on 30 April 2026.
