The Malta College of Arts, Science, and Technology (MCAST) ushered in the festive season with Christmas activities that brought together staff and students on campus.
On 19 December, the MCAST band played festive music and toured the Paola campus visiting different institutes and offices. A mass celebration, led by College Chaplain Fr Aurelio Mule Stagno, was held in the Main Hall of the Administration Building, with support from the MCAST Social Committee.
Centred around the theme ‘Open the Doors of Hope’, the mass in preparation for Christmas invited the MCAST community to reflect on the importance of extending kindness and compassion and to listen to the voice of those who feel neglected, especially during the holiday season.
A similar message resonates through MCAST’s Christmas video, which celebrates the core values of respect, belief, creativity, resilience, and curiosity— inviting everyone to reflect on the gifts that matter and enrich our lives.
During a staff gathering which followed, the Principal and CEO, Professor Stephen Vella, exchanged Christmas greetings with staff members from different institutes and departments.
The College will be closed from 24 December to 1 January for the Christmas break.
