Mode: Includes Internship |
This degree programme deals with the design, construction, operation and maintenance of engines and machinery in ships and marine installations. The learner will gain an understanding of developed and emerging technologies whilst applying theoretical and practical methods in the analysis and solution of marine engineering related problems. At this level of study, one will be expected to develop the qualities needed for employment in situations requiring the exercise of personal responsibility, technical leadership and commercial management in complex and unpredictable circumstances as expected in the Maritime industry. |
Dan il-programm li jwassal għal baċellerat jittratta d-disinn, il-kostruzzjoni, l-operat u l-manutenzjoni tal-magni u l-makkinarju f’bastimenti u installazzjonijiet tal-baħar. L-istudent jikseb fehim tat-teknoloġiji żviluppati u emerġenti, filwaqt li japplika metodi teoretiċi u prattiċi fl-analiżi u s-soluzzjoni ta’ problemi relatati mal-inġinerija tal-baħar. F’dan il-livell ta’ studju, wieħed ikun mistenni li jiżviluppa l-kwalitajiet meħtieġa għal impjieg f’sitwazzjonijiet li jirrikjedu l-eżerċizzju ta’ responsabbiltà personali, it-tmexxija teknika u l-ġestjoni kummerċjali f’ċirkostanzi kumplessi u imprevedibbli kif wieħed jistenna fl-industrija Marittima. |
