The European Parliament Liaison Office in Malta, in cooperation with MCAST, has the pleasure of inviting you to an open discussion entitled “Hot Mess: How to Deal with the Climate Crisis”, with Thomas Bajada, Member of the European Parliament.

The effects of climate change are already visible across the Mediterranean, from extreme heat and water scarcity to growing pressure on our seas and food systems. This event will explore what these challenges mean for Malta, how European policy is responding, and what can be done by institutions, communities and individuals.

Thomas Bajada has been a Member of the European Parliament since 2024. He sits on the Committee on the Environment, Climate and Food Safety and the Committee on Fisheries, and was the Parliament’s rapporteur on the European Water Resilience Strategy.
