MCAST took part in the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation’s (MEYR) ‘I Choose’ Post-Secondary Education Fair on Friday, 24 July 2026, held at the Grand Hotel Excelsior in Floriana. The annual event, which targets all Year 11 students, gives young people the opportunity to explore their career and educational options as they approach the end of compulsory education.

Running across two sessions, from 09:00 to 13:00hrs and again from 16:00 to 20:00hrs, the fair brought together students and their parents or guardians for a day of career talks, one-to-one guidance sessions, and exhibitor stands representing education and employment pathways across every sector.

At the MCAST stand, staff met prospective students and their families to walk them through the full breadth of courses available across the College’s institutes, from creative arts and business to engineering, science, and information technology. Visitors were guided on entry requirements and the steps to apply, helping them make informed, confident decisions about their next steps after Year 11.

The stand formed part of MCAST’s wider outreach to prospective students during its 25th anniversary year, reinforcing the College’s role as Malta’s national provider of vocational and applied education, offering pathways from certificate to degree level across a wide range of industries.

MCAST thanks the I Choose Team and MEYR’s Wellbeing Services for organising another successful event, and wishes all Year 11 students the very best as they embark on their post-secondary education and future careers.
