The Malta College of Arts, Science, and Technology (MCAST) together with the Institute of Applied Sciences held a Hydration Event on campus in Paola.
The event spanned over 3-days aimed to provide information about the importance and benefits of good hydration to the human body. MCAST lecturers and students following science courses organised and participated in the event. Open discussions held during this initiative focused on promoting and providing knowledge on good hydration, dong hydration assessments and urging individuals to improve their hydration intake.
The event which was open to College staff, students and also the general public proved to be a valuable opportunity for participating students since they were able to provide advice, participate in knowledge sharing sessions about the subject and gain industry insight.
Sample refreshments were provided during the event. Funds collected through this initiative were donated to the MCAST student fund.
MCAST’s Institute of Applied Science offers a wide array of courses ranging from level 1 certificates up to level 6 Bachelor Degrees.
