MCAST participates in the Junior College Career EXPO

The Malta College of Arts, Science, and Technology (MCAST) participated in the Junior College Career EXPO 2024. The EXPO aimed to give students a first-hand opportunity to discover and explore different study routes and career paths.

The College’s career guidance team was present to meet prospective applicants at the event. During the event, MCAST officials explained in detail the different courses at MCAST that lead to careers in different employment sectors. Essential information about the application process, the vocational educational approach and the way students can progress from one study level to the next during their educational journey was provided.

The vocational qualifications offered by the College include a strong element of work-based learning for students to enjoy practical, hands-on learning in various subjects, including applied science, engineering, creative arts, community services, information, business, finance, and communication technology. The course selection includes courses leading to careers in various key economic sectors, including digital and green jobs, aviation, and maritime. The College offers a variety of options so that students can start at multiple levels depending on their qualifications and experience.

MCAST’s Outreach Services and Student Affairs Department will hold a seminar for secondary school career guidance teachers on the 19th of February 2024. This event will help to update all career guidance practitioners with the latest information about MCAST’s course offer 2024-25.
