MCAST welcomes Ghanaian Delegation on Campus

The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) welcomed a delegation from Ghana as part of a trade mission, facilitated by Trade Malta.
Deputy Minister for Ghanaian Trade and Industry Hon. Micheal Bassfi Okyere, Ghana High Commissioner H.E. Barbara Aboukor Benisa and Trade Malta CEO Anton Buttigieg attended the event.

The Ghanaian delegation was welcomed by MCAST Deputy Principal for Business Development and Communications Mr Stephen Vella and MCAST Deputy Principal for Vocational and Professional Education and Training Mr Ronald Curmi.
Together with MCAST representatives the delegation were shown the facilities within the Institute of Engineering and Transport (IET). Moreover, a presentation about courses offered at the Institute of Engineering and Transport was provided by Director Ing Mr Stephen Sammut.

During his opening speech Deputy Principal Mr Stephen Vella said, “MCAST offers a learning environment that connects all international students to the real world. The College offers a wide variaty of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of study. It is our mission to provide all students with the skills and knowledge required to succeed within the industry”.
During the visit the Ghanaian delegation toured the MCAST library and the new state-of-the-art MRC Building. They were also shown ongoing project currently being carried out on campus, including works on the new IICT Building.
