Reports to: Manager (International Business Development)
General responsibilities will include:
• Perform data entry and updating and/or modifying database regularly
• Maintain statistics on a regular basis
• Maintaining existing client/student relationship and developing new links with prospective learners
• Assisting current and prospective students with their general queries
• Liaising with other departments on matters related to student data
• Handle routine correspondence, short notes or other documents based on instructions and templates
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
• Taking and record direct orders from consumers, sales team, employees and customers at the front desk. Handle payment and invoices accordingly
• Dialogue with local and international agents
• Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, international students applications, letters for admissions, etc
Key Capabilities:
• EU National (Fluency in English is very important)
• Excellent communication and customer handling skills
• Computer literacy (MS Office tools especially Excel)
• Reflect the Company’s Corporate image in the handling of activities, care of the work environment and presentation and information to customers
Education and Experience:
• Exposure to the busy fast paced International Students’ recruitment environment
• Holds a recognized Level 4 qualification
• Computer literate with excellent knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications;
• Well organised, accurate and able to work under pressure;
• Able to communicate confidently and effectively in both Maltese & English;
• Able to work well as part of a team.
