Course Description

The implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within industry influences all industries including manufacturing, public sector, education and many more. The MCAST Master of Science in AI Technologies and Applications programme focuses on the key knowledge required for solving business challenges and yielding competitive advantage through the application of Artificial Intelligence technologies. It provides the theoretical and practical knowledge to work across industries and implement AI where needed. Graduates will be well versed in the Fundamentals of AI, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Social Implications, Ethics, Regulation and Business Analysis proficiencies. The MCAST Master of Science in AI Technologies and Applications is taught by industry experts and leading academics who are actively engaged in successful careers in their respective fields.

Career Prospects

This is conducive to the more senior business management technologist and other senior personnel who will act as change agents in their organizations through the application of Artifical Intelligence (AI).

Entry Requirements

Applicants must hold a recognised MQF/EQF Level 6 qualification with at least 180 credits and a documented final degree classification, in sciences or in the technological or social sciences domains.Applicants found eligible as per above, will also be asked to successfully complete a Master’s Programnme Suitability Interview

In the absence of holding the above entry requirements,, applicants beyond the age of 27 years can present themselevs under the Maturity Clause, and present a recognised MQF/EQF Level 5 qualification (with a minimum of 120 credits) in the areas specified obove, together with clear evidence of a minimum of three (3) years (full time) direct and relevant professional experience specifically in the mentioned areas.

Applicants under Maturity Clause, will be asked to sit for a combined Maturity and Master’s Suitability Interview.

This Master’s Programme MAY be available as Full-Time delivery, if this same programme will be taking off for an International Cohort. Fees apply as will be guided by MG2i (MCAST Gateway to Industry).
