Seminar for front liners of Student Services in order to provide accurate guide to staff on the services on offer

    June 6, 2024

The MCAST Band presents this simple unassuming in house concert where a selection of famous tunes – as well as one written by a member of the band – will be performed. This evening should prove to be an enjoyable one for you and your family as well as anyone willing to come along.

    Thu 06 Jun 2024

    Main hall Administration Building

    19:30-21:00

Therefore, please, do come along to show your support to the MCAST band before heading off for the long weekend (peppered with the elections).

The band members - mostly students and staff - offer their service on a voluntary basis. The band is convened by Mr Angelo Graham and directed by Mro Christopher Bonnici. It has already rendered its services six times in six months. Through your support this motivation will be maintained.

Innovation made in Malta. With STREAM, satellite data now comes easy in the hands of both professional users and non-professionals. No more special skills or data access permissions. STREAM delivers the tools to view and download data from your mobile, data only where and when you need it, fast, free and easy by a simple personalised request on your own device. This meets the project targets to deliver satellite data to the benefit of society. More than raw data, STREAM further provides added value through specialised services delivering elaborated information specifically for the Maltese Islands. The seminar launches the current version of the STREAM satellite data smartphone app, presenting its versatility and appeal to various user categories. We also present interventions from invited speakers to highlight the growing relevance of satellite-based data in specific applications, to aid, optimise, empower and enhance the activities of stakeholders, operators, and economic endeavours.
