About the group

The Interdisciplinary Research Community of Practice (IRCoP) is a collaborative initiative designed to bring together academics, researchers, industry experts, policy makers, and students to promote interdisciplinary research and innovation at Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology. IRCoP encourages the exchange of knowledge, methodologies, and perspectives across different disciplines to address complex challenges through innovative and research-driven solutions. The group supports cross-disciplinary analysis, research capacity building, proposal development, and community engagement activities. Meetings are held quarterly, with additional sessions organised when necessary to achieve research objectives. IRCoP also strengthens connections between academia and external stakeholders by involving industry partners and practitioners in discussions and research activities, where applicable. Through these efforts, IRCoP aims to foster a strong research culture, encourage collaboration, and enhance the practical impact of research within the wider community.
