Course Description
This programme of study aims to provide the learner with skills in the trades of metalworks. Various materials and techniques such as wrought iron, aluminium, copper and tin smithing, welding and fabrication and glass blowing will be explored. The course has a hands-on approach within a workshop and industrial setting ensuring both applied theory and practice. The programme gives the opportunity to learners to practice their skills through project-based learning related to the area of trade.

- Any MCAST MQF Level 1 Introductory Certificate
OR
Finished Compulsory Education
AND
Complete a Pre-Training Proficiency Review, which will be administered by MCAST and for which applicant must attend at the scheduled appointment.
