Course Description
This programme of study aims to provide the learner with basic skills and practice in the trades of textiles and needle techniques such as weaving, embroidery, sewing and lace-making. The programme will be taught through a hands-on approach in a workshop and industrial setting with the aim of providing the student with both practice and applied theory. Students will have the opportunity to practice their skills through project-based learning related to the area of trade.

Finished Compulsory Education
AND
Complete a Pre-Training Proficiency Review, which will be administered by MCAST and for which applicant must attend at the scheduled appointment.
