Course Description

This course is intended for learners who have a good foundation of the daily practices of working within disciplinary forces and wish to augment that knowledge with enhanced skills. The learning outcomes of the course delve into niche areas of the roles within disciplinary forces for a deeper understanding of ways to work within the community and serve the purposes of the profession. The skills ensure better service to those seeking assistance and are attuned to the role of the forces within the local community and society in general.

  • Any MCAST MQF level 2 Foundation Certificate

OR

Any 2 subjects at SEC / SSC&P / SSQP, or equivalent, with a Pass Grade / Level 3

Other notes related to this programme

A “Pre-Entry / Eligibility Fitness Medical Clearance Form” will be made available on the course’s web page on MCAST website (‘MCAST Full Time courses’ Section). This will need to be filled in and signed by a Medical Professional Practioner / GP as well as endorsed by parents in instances of applicants who are under 18 years of age. When submitting an application for this programme of studies, this filled-in and signed document, needs to be part of the uploads submitted, in order for the application to be processed. Without that upload, the application will not be processed during the Admissions period (Summer 2026)
