Course Description
This degree programme is intended to give learners the opportunity to work hands-on in creative environments and produce audio-visual content for both artistic and commercial practices. The course emphasizes content generation for the creative media and cultural industries. Learners will be initially exposed to key technical, conceptual, and critical aspects of media production. They will learn about the overarching principles and practices that underpin professional productions. This degree programme gives young professionals all the necessary tools and techniques to develop ideas for screen-based content. Learners are then be introduced to four main disciplines: Film; Documentary; TV and Digital Video, and then choose one discipline to specialise in it. This programme will give learners the opportunity to produce a fully fledged creative media production in one of the chosen disciplines as a final major production.

- MCAST Advanced Diploma in Video Production, or
- MCAST Advanced Diploma in Photography, or
- MCAST Advanced Diploma in Digital Design, or
- MCAST Advanced Diploma in Art and Design, or
- MCAST Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts

2 subjects as A-Level passes and 2 subjects as I-Level passes

Applicants may be asked to sit for an Interview and/or present their Portfolio.
An Applicant aged 23 years and over, and not in possession of the above Entry Requirements, may wish to apply via the Maturity Clause route. Applicants under Maturity Clause must still present clear documentation showing that they have a number of achievements in hand together with their School Leaving formal Certificate / document (to confirm their successful completion of compulsory schooling). Age is not the only eligibility factor in such instances. Besides documents showing their past achievements, applicants must present a detailed CV using the Europass format, as well as the most recent official JobsPlus Employment History.
