Course Description
This programme of study consists of four different modules: viticulture, floral design, gardening and nursery production, crop production and processing. Practical sessions and work experience form an integral part of the programme of study, providing the learners with the required skills and competences to improve employment opportunities. The course also provides a good foundation for future career prospects in the respective fields as well as for progression to a more advanced qualification. This programme also gives the learner the possibility to choose one’s own combination of different modules leading to certification of an award for each individual stand-alone module that the learner has successfully completed.

- Any MCAST MQF Level 2 Foundation Certificate
OR
2 subjects at SEC / SSC&P / SSQP, or equivalent, with a Pass Grade / Level 3
Other notes related to this programme
An Applicant aged 19 years and over, and not in possession of the above Entry Requirements, may wish to apply via the Maturity Clause route. Applicants under Maturity Clause must still present clear documentation showing that they have a number of achievements in hand together with their School Leaving formal Certificate / document (to confirm their successful completion of compulsory schooling). Age is not the only eligibility factor in such instances. Besides documents showing their past achievements, applicants must present a detailed CV using the Europass format, as well as the most recent official JobsPlus Employment History.
