Course Description
This programme of study aims to provide the learner with skills and practice in trowel trades and masonry skills. Various techniques will be explored such as restoration of old houses, floor laying, gypsum, plastering, painting, and plumbing with additional focus on design and materials. The programme will be taught through a hands-on approach in a workshop and industrial setting to provide both practice and applied theory. The programme focuses on giving learner the opportunity to apply their skills through project-based learning.

- Any MCAST MQF Level 2 Foundation Certificate
OR
2 subjects at SEC / SSC&P / SSQP, or equivalent, with a Pass Grade / Level 3

An Applicant aged 19 years and over, and not in possession of the above Entry Requirements, may wish to apply via the Maturity Clause route. Applicants under Maturity Clause must still present clear documentation showing that they have a number of achievements in hand together with their School Leaving formal Certificate / document (to confirm their successful completion of compulsory schooling). Age is not the only eligibility factor in such instances. Besides documents showing their past achievements, applicants must present a detailed CV using the Europass format, as well as the most recent official JobsPlus Employment History.
