Course Description
The Award in Vocational Skills (Introductory Level B) is designed to support students with learning disabilities or difficulties in developing the skills needed to become more independent members of society. It also introduces them to the world of work by providing essential employability skills. Students explore the area of office work in industry together with choosing between Retail or Hospitality vocational area.
In addition, they develop fundamental transversal skills, such as numeracy, digital literacy, social and communication abilities, daily living skills, and more. The programme also includes job exposure and work placement experience within industry.
