Course Description
The aim of this one-year diploma course is to provide learners with the training and competence needed to be able to join the Bachelor of Civil & Structural Engineering program. The course has been designed so that knowledge, skills and competencies in mathematics and physics is enhanced. This is meant to raise the student’s knowledge and understanding of the subjects to the required rigorous level.
In addition, the programme will include study-units specific in the various fields of engineering such as the use of ACAD, fundamentals of chemistry, material science and programming.

- Any MQF Level 4 (at least 120 credits) recognised Qualification in an Engineering, Science or ICT field,
OR
2 subjects as A-Level passes and 2 subjects as I-Level passes
Compulsory A-Levels: Physics AND Mathematics (Pure or Applied)

An Applicant aged 23 years and over, and not in possession of the above Entry Requirements, may wish to apply via the Maturity Clause route. Applicants under Maturity Clause must still present clear documentation showing that they have a number of achievements in hand together with their School Leaving formal Certificate / document (to confirm their successful completion of compulsory schooling). Age is not the only eligibility factor in such instances. Besides documents showing their past achievements, applicants must present a detailed CV using the Europass format, as well as the most recent official JobsPlus Employment History.
