Course Description

This programme will allow learners to study the different areas of business and office administration. It is aimed either at students who aspire to one day open up their own business or follow in their family business, or else to work in the administration of a company at a junior level. This generic course offers a good basis into the main areas of business administration including office administration, accounts, IT application skills, logistics and operations management, project management, marketing, recruitment, and business law among others. The course, which is assessed through a variety of scenario related assessments, also sees learners go out on Apprenticeship where a holistic hands-on and practical approach is adopted.

Entry Requirements

Internal Progression Route….

  • Any MCAST MQF Level 3 Diploma

OR

4 subjects at SEC / SSC&P / SSQP, or equivalent, with a Pass Grade / Level 3

Other notes related to this programme

An Applicant aged 21 years and over, and not in possession of the above Entry Requirements, may wish to apply via the Maturity Clause route.  Applicants under Maturity Clause must still present clear documentation showing that they have a number of achievements in hand together with their School Leaving formal Certificate / document (to confirm their successful completion of compulsory schooling).  Age is not the only eligibility factor in such instances.  Besides documents showing their past achievements, applicants must present a detailed CV using the Europass format, as well as the most recent official JobsPlus Employment History.
