Course Description
This Bachelor’s degree aims at providing learners with the opportunity to specialise in the veterinary nursing profession whilst also learning subjects related to other aspects of livestsock management and animal care. The students will have the opportunity to study various aspects of veterinary nursing of various animals whilst practising clinical skills throughout the duration of the course. The course will also tackle subjects related to wildlife sciences and the business components of animal enterprises.
Furthermore, learners will undertake a research project whereby they will be expected to select a topic for investigation following an established methodology.

- MCAST Advanced Diploma in Animal Management and Veterinary Nursing, or
- MCAST Advanced Diploma in Fish Management, or
- MCAST Advanced Diploma in Horticulture
OR
2 subjects as A-Level passes and 2 subjects as I-Level passes

An Applicant aged 23 years and over, and not in possession of the above Entry Requirements, may wish to apply via the Maturity Clause route. Applicants under Maturity Clause must still present clear documentation showing that they have a number of achievements in hand together with their School Leaving formal Certificate / document (to confirm their successful completion of compulsory schooling). Age is not the only eligibility factor in such instances. Besides documents showing their past achievements, applicants must present a detailed CV using the Europass format, as well as the most recent official JobsPlus Employment History.
