Course Description
The advanced diploma in Aerospace structures and repairs is a specialized training programme designed to equip learners with advanced knowledge and practical skills in the inspection, maintenance, fabrication and repair of aircraft structural components and composite materials. The programme focuses on modern aircraft construction techniques, including both metallic and non-metallic (composite) structures, in accordance with international aviation standards and regulatory requirements.
Students will gain hands-on experience using industry-standard tools, materials, and repair techniques in a simulated hangar environment. The curriculum integrates theoretical instruction with extensive practical training to develop technical competence, precision and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Upon successful completion, graduates will be prepared to perform structural maintenance and composite repair work in aircraft maintenance organisations (AMOs), manufacturing facilities, and aerospace engineering environments. They will also be equipped to progress toward aircraft maintenance licensure or further specialisation in aeronautical engineering and composite technologies.
