Course Description
The Diploma in Aerospace Maintenance is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with the technical knowledge and practical skills required to maintain, repair and overhaul aircraft mechanical and structural components. The course emphasizes hands-on training in aircraft systems, materials and maintenance procedures in compliance with international aviation standards.
Key learning areas:
- Aircraft Mechanical Systems: Study of powerplant systems, fuel, hydraulic, pneumatic and environmental control systems.
- Aircraft Structures: Principles of airframe design, materials, corrosion control, non-destructive testing NDT) and structural repair techniques

Entry Requirements
Internal Progression Route…
- Any MCAST MQF Level 2 Foundation Certificate
OR
2 subjects at SEC / SSC&P / SSQP, or equivalent, with a Pass Grade / Level 3
Applicants must present an official document, showing a positive clearance following a Colour Vision Assessment / Test.
Other notes related to this programme
When submitting online application for this course, a scan of the original and official Colour Vision Test result needs to be uploaded together with all other documentation required.
An Applicant aged 19 years and over, and not in possession of the above Entry Requirements, may wish to apply via the Maturity Clause route. Applicants under Maturity Clause must still present clear documentation showing that they have a number of achievements in hand together with their School Leaving formal Certificate / document (to confirm their successful completion of compulsory schooling). Age is not the only eligibility factor in such instances. Besides documents showing their past achievements, applicants must present a detailed CV using the Europass format, as well as the most recent official JobsPlus Employment History.
