MEDELEC donates switchgear equipment to MCAST’s Institute of Engineering and Transport. This equipment will be used by our students in their hands-on practice on electrical power systems.

System Mapping as a service for post-COVID regional transition. An event organised by the Malta Chamber of SMEs and MCAST. MCAST’s research and innovation team in collaboration with the Chamber of SMEs organised a workshop on finding solutions for recovering economies post-COVID19.

A fund-raising activity was organised for staff and students. Promoting a culture of health and wellbeing for our staff and students is at the centre of the College’s social responsibility initiatives. Proceeds will be donated to the “Action for Breast Cancer Foundation”

Inauguration of the new simulator at the Centre for Maritime Studies, Institute of Engineering and Transport  

KIA Motor Malta donated a KIA Optima to MCAST which will be used for the training of MCAST students in mechanics and operations participating in courses at the Institute of Engineering and Transport.

MCAST hosted the first meeting of the Malta Council for Economic and Social Development (MCESD) at the Paola Campus. Our campus is a hub for inspiring exchange, collaboration and cooperation with different stakeholders.  

MCAST students following courses in masonry heritage skills are working on the restoration of several sites around Malta including St Catherine’s Chapel in Gudja. MCAST offers courses in construction and heritage skills at various levels ensuring that young people are trained in the maintenance, protection and preservation of heritage sites. The Ambassador of Mozambique, César Francisco de Gouveia Junior visited MCAST to discuss collaboration in the field of vocational education and training. He was accompanied by the Honorary Consul for Mozambique, Mr Karl Farrugia Wismayer and the first secretary, Inacio Muzime.
