MG2i Part-Time Course Application Guide

This section is intended to provide applicants with information and a sample guide which can be found useful when submitting an online application for a course promoted by MG2i typically on a part-time basis.

Important Note: If you already have an MCAST email address (especially after 2021), you are kindly asked to send an email to mcast7888@mcast.edu.mt, explaining this and giving your full name, surname and ID number. We will guide you from thereon. Once you create a CMIS profile using your EID, and the same profile is still active on MCAST CMIS, you will not need to go through the whole process of creating a profile. MCAST will facilitate your course application action. If you have forgotten the credentials to your MCAST email address, likewise please communicate with mcast7888@mcast.edu.mt, always explaining what you will require, and providing your personal details.

Start off by entering the following URL – https://mcast.classter.com/actions/registration

The steps which are required are mainly the following:

1. If this is your first time submitting a course application at MCAST, you are kindly asked to create your CMIS MCAST profile making use of your own active and valid EID credentials.
2. The second step of the process is uploading scans of any certificates of qualifications / results / official documents etc. which are required in order to vet your eligibility for the course, as per the set entry requirements published on MCAST or MG2i website or as informed by the Institute Part Time Courses Coordinator.
3. The third step asks for consents from you as a course applicant – this is a legal requirement which MCAST takes seriously in a way that your data is rightfully and properly protected.
4. The final step is the selection of the course you intend applying for. The course-specific information is to be taken from the Course Admissions’ Sheet which is typically circulated via email by MG2i at the opening of a course’s admissions window. Information such as Admissions Course Application Deadline, Course Code and Course Title, Intake, Institute etc. will be found in that Course Admissions’ Sheet.

The Part-Time Courses’ Coordinator at the Institute where the course is delivered will be able to assist you accordingly upon establishing contact (refer to the course page on the MG2i website for contacts).
