MCAST congratulates eight alumni who were awarded the Engineering Profession Warrant during a graduation ceremony organised by the Board of Engineers on 25 May.
The ceremony recognised 14 engineers who obtained their warrant, enabling them to practise as warranted engineers in Malta. Among them were eight MCAST graduates, highlighting the College’s growing contribution to the engineering profession.
This achievement follows another milestone for MCAST. On 2 February 2026, two MCAST engineering graduates became the first alumni from the College to be awarded the Engineering Profession Warrant, marking a historic moment for both MCAST and Malta’s engineering sector.
The warrant is awarded to engineers who satisfy professional standards under Maltese legislation and demonstrates their competence, ethical commitment and readiness to assume professional responsibility.
Addressing the ceremony, representatives from the engineering sector described the warrant as more than a professional qualification, noting that it carries with it a responsibility to uphold the highest standards of integrity, competence and service throughout one’s career.
MCAST congratulates all eight alumni on reaching this professional milestone. Their success reflects their commitment and hard work, as well as the strength of the engineering education provided by the College.
As they continue their professional careers, these graduates join a growing community of MCAST alumni who contribute to Malta’s engineering sector and help shape the country’s future through innovation and expertise.
