Brief Description of organisation

The Optimist Club of Malta is a voluntary organisation with the aim to help children after school hours with their homework and study, help them integrate between them, share their ideas and problems and organise educational activities while they are at our centers. In this regards, Optimist Club of Malta has launched the project Ikber Maghna in four different localities around Malta, Msida, Hamrun, Paola and Birgu. The hours are mainly from 03.00pm till 6.30pm which varies according to the locality from Monday to Friday

Type of community work that can be offered to our students

🔴help in problems related to homework and study that children of age between 8 to 10 years might have

🟠encourage children to read, maybe in a more comfortable and fun way

sit with children if they wish to talk

🟡organise educational activities that children will be happy in a safe way

🔵coming with ideas of how to fill the time for children when they are at our centers and do not have any hw or study

🔴help in small parties that will be organised for children for Christmas
