Brief Description of organisation
Karibu Malta is an association established in 2013 and its main aim is to assist and finance missionary work in third-world countries. Such work is usually related to educational support such as funding schools to be able to give basic education. To date, Karibu Malta has built two schools in Kenya. In order to reach our goals, we organise various activities to generate funds around the island. The association also gives the opportunity to its members to travel to the country where Karibu Malta would be funding a project during that specific year. This will give a better understanding of why we are so passionate about what we do and our participants will be able to get a better understanding of the real struggles such people suffer from in these countries.
Type of community work that can be offered to our students
We want you to be hands-on (Picking oranges, baking cakes and figolli, hosting football tournaments and others
Think outside the box and come up with sustainable fundraising activities
Assisting in the planning and implementation of such activities
