Brief Description of organisation

The aim of the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation is in improving the quality of life and care of individuals and society in general, without any form of discrimination on the basis of social class, gender identity, age, ability, health, status or religion. Our Foundation is receiving an ever-increasing amount of requests from mainly cancer patients but also others that have rare diseases. Likewise, the cost of treatment and medication is ever increasingly putting a huge burden on us. Our efforts to ensure that requests are accommodated within our parameters has become a daily challenge. We also offer assistance with travel and subsistence for overseas medical care, specialised equipment and wigs for chemotherapy patients amongst other requests.
