MASC is an independent, non-governmental committee dedicated to advancing excellence and fostering interdisciplinary, standardized care in skin and wound management. Their mission is to elevate the profile of skin and wound care and promote best practices across the field. They are committed to facilitating and promoting educational initiatives for nurses, healthcare professionals, and the public on dermatology and wound care. Additionally, they support, promote, and conduct research on topics related to skin and wound care.

Type of community work that can be offered to MCASTstudents

To assist the board members in organising and setting up during a MASC event

To help in organising the archives and managing the MASC database

To assist the committee in launching a website and to promote events/ information on social media
