Brief Description of organisation
Ignite is a youth theatre organisation in Malta, established in 2021 and formally enrolled as a Voluntary Organisation. Our mission is to create quality theatre produced by young people. We aim to provide opportunities for young people aged 16 to 30:
• to own and manage their own theatre production company;
• to develop their skills in all aspects of theatre production; and
• to participate in high quality theatrical projects and productions.
To achieve these aims, Ignite is managed by an Executive Board of young people elected from the membership; and is mentored by an experienced professional youth theatre professional.
