MCAST Officials present donation to the President of Malta

Officials from the Institute of Business, Management, and Commerce (IBMC) at the Malta College of Arts, Science, and Technology (MCAST) met with H.E. President of Malta Myriam Spiteri Debono during a courtesy visit.

In a gesture of solidarity and community spirit, MCAST representatives also presented the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation with a donation of 8,000 euros, collected during IBMC Business Career EXPO 2024. The delegation included members of the Board of Governors, Ms Marietta Lanzon and Mr Anthony Scicluna, Deputy Principal for Arts and Social Sciences, Dr Mario Cardona, College representatives, and IBMC staff members.

During the meeting, MCAST representatives discussed with the President ongoing initiatives at the Institute, future programmes aimed at enhancing students’ educational experience, and preparations currently underway to welcome the new cohort of students next October.

During the meeting, Mr Andrew Galea, IBMC Director at MCAST’s Institute of Business, Management, and Commerce (IBMC), said, “This contribution reflects MCAST’s commitment to fostering academic and professional growth while supporting vital causes within the Maltese community. The efforts of the staff members, the participation by industry players and the enthusiasm of students motivate us to look forward to the next edition.”
