Parents of Applicants / Students who are ove the age of 18 years, are to be clearly informed that MCAST will not be in a position to provide any information related to the Applicant’s or student’s application status or Trajectory at MCAST.  Such information is to be attained directly from their son / daughter aged 18 years and over, or else can be obtained in the clear presence of same son / daughter.

Where the applicant or student is under 18 years of age, a specific Parental Consent form  will be rolled out during the Summer Admissions Period, amongst those  applicants whose age would still not have reached 18 years at time of application submission.  Further information would be made available through the same Under 18 years Parental Consent form exercise – which is a hard copy exercise communicated to all involved via surface mail.  To this effect, all parents especially of under 18 year olds are urged to ensure that they are kept informed about their son/daughter application for an MCAST course – including the GDPR Consents and information page within same online application form.

Very Important Attention:  Course acceptance offers leading to the proper registration of under 18 year old applicants as MCAST students, WILL NOT be possible before the receipt at MCAST of the properly filled in and complete Parental Consent Form which would have been communicated to parents via surface mail (sent to the home address as shown on the form as submitted by the under 18 year old applicants).  This will be an ongoing exercise throughout the Admissions Period (July and August) following submission of a complete online application, which will be found eligible for chosen course.
