The Malta College of Arts, Science, and Technology (MCAST) opened a second call for applications
for courses commencing in October 2022.

Prospective students willing to enroll for courses at the College this October can apply online via the
MCAST website from 29 August till 5 September.

MCAST opened the first call for course applications in 18 July 2022.

During the first call for applications, an encouraging student intake was recorded across all six MCAST Institutes. Moreover, an increase in the number of applications received by the College when
compared to previous years during the same time was registered. Currently, the College’s admissions
office is processing the applications received in the first call so that they can confirm with students if
they have been accepted or if an alternative is being offered. This second call provides an opportunity
for applicants to change their minds about the course they wish to study or attend. It is an
opportunity for students to reassess their options now that they have results.

Key industry players are collaborating with MCAST to encourage student enrolment in particular
courses having high industrial demand, such as chemical technology, business analytics, financial
services management, air-conditioning, engineering, and graphic printing.

MCAST will be offering six new courses next October which reflect the current industry skills needed,
namely, the Advanced Diploma for Dental Surgery Assistants, the Diploma in Cabin Crew Training,
the Undergraduate Diploma in Auto Electronic and Electrical Technology, the Master of Science in
Advanced Clinical Practice, the Master of Science in Professional Health Practice and, the Master in
Social Care Practice.

MCAST witnessed strong audience participation this year during Open Day activities held at Paola
and Mosta campuses, with over 3,000 visiting participants. Moreover, over 300 students in July used
MCAST’s career guidance services.

The College offers over 190 full-time and 300 part-time courses, from introductory level courses to
Master’s level courses.
