On the 7^th and the 8^th of April, MCAST’s Institue of Business, Management and Commerce hosted the Business Expo 2022 at the College’s main campus in Paola.

Over the span of two days, all participating companies were given the unique opportunity to meet and interact with students in their academic environment. MCAST students took full advantage of this opportunity by visiting each stand and using the networking opportunities offered. College lecturers met with representitives from respective companies and enjoyed the chance to discuss the programmes currently being offered at MCAST.

During the Business Expo 2022 students also attended a range of talks specifically targeted to spark interest and debate in current affairs and to hear first-hand how their area of specialisation can be affected. The talks ranged from the importance of compliance, upskilling in the digital World, and the role of Public Service, as well as more practical talks such as interviewing skills and CV building.

This event was supported by FIAU, AQA Capital and PwC. Other participant companies in this event were Fexserv, RSM Malta, the Institute for the Public Service, Zampa Debattista, Atlas Insurance, Apex Funds, Scope and APS Bank Plc.  Also present were the Student Outreach Services who were able to answer any queries on the day in their capacity as career guidance.

Donations collected from this event will be made available for The Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation. The sum of more than Euro5,000 will be formally presented to H.E. Dr George Vella – President of the Republic of Malta in May.
