MCAST wishes to inform students and staff of a phishing incident involving fraudulent emails requesting online payments for tuition fees.

The incident involves a limited number of compromised email accounts that were used to distribute phishing messages. There is no evidence that MCAST’s core IT systems or databases were breached.

The IT Systems Department is actively investigating the matter, securing the accounts affected, and has reported the incident to the relevant authorities.

Students and staff are advised not to engage with such messages or disclose any personal or financial information.
