Inter Amateur Soccer Competition (IASC)

Founded in 1959, it is one of the leading amateur associations offering the possibility to players not affiliated with MFA clubs to play Sunday football in a friendly but competitive atmosphere. 

A total of 18 teams split in two divisions represent various localities around Malta.

The IASC Malta is offering an exciting opportunity for MCAST students to actively engage themselves in the organisation of football matches on Sundays at the Santa Lucia Ground between 0800hrs and 1300hrs.

The routine tasks include:

• recording temperatures
• verifying vaccination certificates
• ensuring the presence of a first aider
• liaising all necessary details with match officials
• filling up match sheets
• checking line-ups and team colours
• inspecting footballs and ensuring appropriate air pressure
• taking photographs
• preparing match reports for social media
