Brief Description
Athletix Club Is the only Gozitan athletics club registered with the National Athletics Association (Athletics Malta ). Run by a Council whose members are elected on a bi-annual basis, work with the club is all done on a voluntary basis. Athletix Gozo AC is fully committed towards raising the level of the sport in the Gozitan region. This is achieved by an ongoing drive to better utilize the limited available facilities, promote the sport in schools in collaboration with Physical Education Teachers, improve the athletes’ performances though an improved coaching structure and by promoting the sport of athletics as a healthy activity that can be practiced by people of all ages and from all sectors of society. Nursery sessions are all conducted by IAAF/AM qualified coaches.
