Brief Description
EFRU is a voluntary organisation made up of volunteer professionals who dedicate their time to train in rescue disciplines such as (First medical response, Firefighting, Rope rescue, Road Traffic Collision, Urban Search & Rescue, Confined Space, etc …) to support the local Civil Protection Department in major and local emergencies e.g. industrial fires, large grass fires, explosions and collapsed buildings.
Type of community work that can be offered to our students
Support in:
vehicle maintenance – equipment checks – fire truck inventory checks – painting – premises maintenance – administrative work – various projects.
Participation in training every Saturday afternoon
