Brief Description of organisation
The Association of Surgeons of Malta (ASM) was established in 1995 to encourage postgraduation training and to improve standards of patient care. It supervises the surgical training programme and recommends trainees for specialist certification and strives to ameliorate surgeon’s working conditions.
Type of community work that can be offered to @mcastmt students
– We organise several activities including international meetings, technical and non-technical courses.
– Students may be able to develop their organisation and leadership skills whilst helping the organisers.
– Calendar of events will be updated on the ASM website.
