Brief Description of organisation
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat (community) is a religious organisation, founded by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, in 1889 as a revival movement within Islam, emphasizing its essential teachings of peace, love, justice, and sanctity of life. From the time it was founded in India in 1889 it has enjoyed an unrivalled record for peace and for its efforts to build cohesive societies. Ahmadiyya Muslim community stands for education, togetherness and interfaith peace.
