MCAST hosted a delegation from Chiba University of Commerce (CUC), Japan, on 27th March. The visit, led by MCAST Principal and CEO Stephen Vella, and Yuri Takahashi – International Advisor (Professor Emerita), Naomi Takemura – Manager International Division, focused on strengthening academic ties and exploring collaborative opportunities.
CUC, a private university based in Chiba, Japan, specialises in business, economics, and commerce education. With a strong emphasis on practical learning and international engagement, CUC offers programmes designed to equip students with global perspectives and industry-relevant skills. The university actively fosters partnerships with institutions worldwide to enhance cross-cultural academic exchanges.
As part of this initiative, CUC will offer two scholarships for MCAST students to participate in its summer school programme from 28th July to 7th August. The programme will cover topics related to the Japanese economy, finance, art, and culture.
